EXTRIS over the years has developed a wide range of fabrication technologies. That make it possible to match different filtration needs either with complete custom designed filters either by fabricating filter media to be integrated into customers’ products.
EXTRIS is capable of intervening directly in the weaving process to identify and create the most suitable fabric for the performance needed by the specific application. Often EXTRIS presents itself as a solution provider capable of intervening to assist customers in the initial product development stages by identifying the materials, their characteristics, and processing technologies to maximize filtration performance while keeping the cost of the solution to the most competitive levels.
Presently, the EXTRIS fabrication department is equipped with traditional technologies as well as those for ultrasonic cutting and welding, thermal cutting and welding, laser cutting and welding, and radiofrequency welding.
